| I recently visited the shop because the AC on my car stopped working. I reached at 5.30 and they were closing at 6. They said it would cost me $40 to test and see what was wrong. I agreed and they came back in 10 mins and said that everything was good and it looks like electrical issue and they will need another $100 to test to figure out what was wrong and i will need to leave my car. Luckily i had an important meeting to attend the next morning so told them i will come back later. The next day i took it to another shop to get it checked and they said the compressor was out and will need to be replaced. I was confused because Auto check had tested it and said it was fine. So i took it to a 3rd shop and they confirmed that it was the AC compressor too. These guys did not charge me a dime to tell me it was the compressor but Auto check charged me $40 and not even tell me the truth but wanted another $100 for some stupid test. never going back here. |
